Jayco stopped installing Goodyear tires on Jay Feather 21MML

What's the latest greatest on tires? My daughter is her maiden vouge with a new RV, had a blowout at 700 miles. I put goodyears on mine and ran them for 4 or 5 years before we sold our rig. Never had an issue. They Hankook on currently...any recommendation's?

I ordered a 21MBH that was advertised to come with Goodyear tires. Once it showed up it had the Rainier ST tires. Jayco customer service was absolutely useless. Finally went through my dealer and found out that Jayco can change whatever they want, whenever they want. Did not feel right that Jayco advertised premium tires and sent something else. I told Jayco this and they could care less. No apology just legal speak that they can make changes. Jayco stated that the new advertisement is all that counts. I did get a free 2 inch hitch mount out of them because the first units of 2025 showed that the hitch was included. They have since changed their advertisement.

I did find out that Goodyear owns Rainier tires through another manufacturer in China. No idea about Rainier tires quality.

I just purchased a new 2025 Jay Feather 21MML trailer. I questioned the dealer why the trailer has Rainier ST tires instead of Goodyear tires. They didn’t know so they put me in touch with a Jayco sales representative. He informed me Jayco changed to Rainier ST tires because Goodyear tires were becoming too expensive. Boy did that surprise me since Jayco brags on their website that they use Goodyear tires because of safety and reliability. I for one would have rather had the option which tires to be installed on my trailer even if it would have cost more. I guess us RVer’s will be Jayco’s guinea pigs to test out this brand of tires.
Mine is a 2023 Jayflight and came with Goodyear tires but even with the Goodyears, I’ve already had to buy a replacement tire at Walmart while travelling. I use it as the spare now and use the spare Goodyear as my running tire because one of them developed bubbles about 3000 miles. No idea of the brand but did not want to be without a spare if another tire went bad. Plan on replacing all of them so interested in the reply to the question what’s the best tire out there now.
