Good morning,

We have a 2023 Jayco Eagle HT 28.5 that we just bought new at the end of 2024.

So we haven't camped in it yet, just sitting in our yard about 30 feet from the house.

I had been checking on the BMPro app the temps and condition of things inside the camper as well I would turn on the lights just for a little while once a week or so.

We have the solar package on it too.

This week, I haven't been able to remote connect to the camper from the app. I went into the camper yesterday and the tablet is blacked out, I couldn't get it to turn on. Last week it was at 100% charged.

So, I can't get the tablet to come on and neither can I get the app to connect to the camper.

We are newbies at this technology, as our last camper was a 2004.

Our dealer did tell me not to take the tablet off the wall as it would void the warranty on it.

Any ideas what maybe going on?

taking tablet off the wall will NOT void any warranty. Opening it up will. I would power it off and reboot and see if it comes back on. Has the camper been powered all the time? I am guessing, being a '23 model, you have the older version of the tablet with a built in battery and it could have discharged but not likely if you have power to the camper. The phone App connects to the BMPRO node directly via Bluetooth when in range. The tablet is not involved in this at all. There are different ways to power it off but I do take it off the wall and disconnect the plug in the back for maybe 30 seconds. Do not let go of the plug or you may be fishing for it inside the wall. Ask me how I know! If that doesn't bring it back and you are unable to connect via the phone App, call the dealer for warranty. It could be a problem with the node although I don't seem to hear of many issues with it.
 
I had the same issue, I called BMPro and they were very helpful and replaced the tablet, I wish i had gotten one of the "battery less" ones but I dint think they had them yet.

Be sure they replace with the newer version with no battery.

Did they charge you for the replacement ? Looks like the warranty is 2 years. I am about 3.5 years out from date of purchase. I have the "repeated non-boot loop" happening to my tablet unit. I own a Jayco 5th Wheel 347BHOK 2021 that I bought new in late summer 2021.
 
My replacement tablet, under warranty, was replaced before the new ones came out. I missed it by about a year or so. I have read here a couple of stories where they replaced it out of warranty
