Hi All!
I just joined the forum late last week but have been looking around it for a while now. I'm from Eastern Ontario in Canada.
We have been camping for 4 years or so now. We started out with a 23 foot Terry travel trailer. Our TV at the time was a Pontiac Torrent....ya I know, definately not the the best idea. It did come with a complete factory tow package with all the coolers, that's the only reason I even considered it. It handled it surprisingly well and was fairly stable on the road, the only problem was it was underpowered so I was afraid of hills, lol. We didn't go any distance (usually within a half hour drive) and most of the time took secondary roads cause...what's the hurry?
Last spring we upgraded to a 2011 Jayfeather 29L with the outdoor kitchen option and a 2011 Dodge Ram Crew Cab with the Hemi. Except for the fuel mileage we love the combo. Ah well, didn't buy it to save fuel.
So it's myself, wife, 9 year old boy and the dog. We can't wait to start the season...just brought the camper home out of storage last week and now it's sitting in the driveway teasing us.
