Has anyone replaced their kitchen faucet I their jayco 25RB yet? This is gonna be my next project before camping season starts, if anyone has done this would love to know what all supplies were needed. I plan on using a home kitchen faucet instead.
Thanks and happy camping!!

Since no one has replied as yet, I'll chime in that we did replace both faucets in our 19RD several years ago. There were no additional parts required on ours.

To make it easy, remove your faucet first and take it with you to the store to compare fittings just to be sure so you only have to make one trip.

oh yeah for sure!!! one and done! I was looking at where I bought my camper at and WOW, OMG they are proud of those things, those prices are insane and ridiculous!

I would be looking at Lowe's, Home Depot, Amazon, Menards, etc before the dealer and definitely not one labeled RV.

Is your existing faucet two handles on 8" centers or a single handle faucet? Changing a double handle to a single can have its issues fastening the plate that comes with it to cover the holes. I would silicon that plate down if it's held by only the one middle nut. Replacing with the same type should present no issues...also a good time to install a couple of shut offs that will make installation easier.

Easy to replace with a household kitchen faucet and better quality too! If I remember right, I had to shorten my incoming pex lines to make the installation cleaner/neater. Changed out to a single handle with a pull out sprayer. Much happier! While I was at it, I also changed out the bathroom faucet with a single handle one as well.

Single handle and yes I planned on putting shut off valves on the lines

great idea to change out those faucets. I went with both kitchen and bath upgrades. Bath remained two hole, all new plumbing, and to jammed up under counter with pex for outside shower, used flex lines on all, and isolated the outside shower. Water in those lines unused was unpleasant. In the kitchen went to one hole. Higher arch head, used one existing hole, skipped the silly plate and picked up a satin blank to match the faucet. Overall much improved. If you don’t have pex tools, pick up midpriced set, some proper pex pipe some crimp rings. Ive replumbed every fixture and water heater, factory was such a mess. Caution with flex lines to pex fittings, OD is different. Use auto style band screw types.

Thanks for the tips!, our faucets are black so I’m gonna stick with that color, bathroom I’ll leave but the kitchen will be swapped out, wife wants the jet sprayer, my buddy is a plumber so he has all the tools so I’ll just use his stuff. But I do appreciate your advice

I have replaced all 2 of our inside faucets and the shower fixture. For the kitchen, we used a single handle faucet with a pull out sprayer with a integrated sprayer with 2 spray patterns. I would use the functionality of the old one,( height) to gauge what the height the replacement will be. We liked one slightly higher than the OE one to give us more room to work under the spout.

That’s what we currently have is a one handle operation, we’re gonna upgrade the kitchen one, bathroom sink is fine and shower head was swapped out by the previous owner.
