I have a precept prestige 2019 jayco my steps stopped. HAS anybody else have this problem is there a fuse for the steps and where would it be.

There should be one or possibly two fuses in the wiring feeding your steps under your motorhome. I found a cartridge type inline fuse and a automotive blade type fuse in my wiring when my steps stopped working. I replaced the cartridge fuse and the steps worked.

More common for the magnet that is in the door is bad. You can google the fix need to check the continuity with a voltmeter to determine what is wrong easy fix new magnet is around $10.00

The one on our 2018 Alante stopped. After doing all the voltage and continuity tests, it was the controller. It was fixed by my dealer under my 12 month used RV warranty that they provided.
