I am going to retire on Jan 3rd 2025. We too are staying put in southern Oregon. The house is paid for and we just put a new roof on the house last year. Maybe we can travel to AZ with the trailer and visit my sister in Sun City next snow bird season. We will have to see how Mrs. Duke's back issues get treated. May have to sell the trailer if Dr. cannot give her pain relief.

All things are in the Lord's hands.

Halloween? Heck, I just went through boxes of Christmas decorations and bought $200 of new lights and stuff. Should be up before turkey day!
::woohoo::

I hope everyone on the west coast is surviving the "bomb cyclone" that has been passing by. Lots of wet weather here in southern OR. There have been some very high winds aslo.

Cyclone, typhoon, and hurricanes are all the same beast. The only difference is what area of the world the name for high winds came from.

Have a nice day.

Thanks — you too, Duke. We’ve totaled 10.4” of rain in three days, plus some 50 mph winds yesterday. Trailer is nice and snug under its cover but it won’t be going anwhere soon.

Congrats Duke! I retired last year and never looked back. Although being retired does not mean you sit idle by. I found that out after retirement. Been busy doing what I love to do. Have fun.
