Does anyone have experience on how to get to the back side of the hot water heater on a 2011 Embark. I don’t find any access to the back side of the water heater. Am I correct in thinking that I’m going to have to disconnect and pull the hot water heater and tank to get to the fittings on the back side?

Any help would be greatly appreciated as water pours out of the plastic box when I try to fill the wTer tank or pressurize the system.

Thanks,
Embark.

I haven’t looked at an Embark but having a Seneca, I have the same issue as I want to get in there and insulate the water pipe in there for cold weather camping. Are the storage bay/compartments molded plastic? Mine are and I plan on cutting an access hole to get into the area behind the water heater and then install a waterproof cover for future access. There is one on the bottom side of mine now towards the outside but when you open it, it’s blocked by a plywood panel.

I have the same plastic molded compartment but no access anywhere. I am looking at cutting a hole in the floor above. This would be under a drawer in my closet. Regardless, I still have to remove the water heater to get to everything to start.
