Is there anyone out there with a 2018 or 2019 Ford long bed dually that can tell me the distance from the center of their fifth wheel hitch to the back of their bumper on their truck? Or even the distance from the end of their bed to the back of their bumper. Then I can probably just add 4 feet to that and be close. I am assuming the center of the hitch will wind up in the center of an 8 foot bed.

I am trying to make sure that what I want to purchase is not going to be over a total length limit. I know I will be good in my home state of Louisiana because the limit is 70 feet. But I also know that a lot of other states is 65 feet. I really wish they would pass a law that states the limits that count are the limits of the state the unit is registered in.

I have a 2009 F450 DRW with 8’ bed. I have a BW under bed turnover ball and a BW 20K Companion FW hitch that hooks into the under bed system. The king pin is right over the axle. My FW 42’ and connected to truck is about 61’. I have never worried about legal towing length in states outside of where registered. If you double row, that might be a different consideration. I can measure the distance from king pin to truck bumper if you still want it.
