Levelers won't retract

I had similar problem on my 2015 Precept. Found that a wire on the equalizer was shorting against the frame. Taped & everything worked.

I had the motor fail on my 2019 precept and had to manually retract them. The procedure is in the manual, you need an electric drill, cordless preferred, and I believe some torques extensions that will go on the electric drill. You have to open some hydraulic bleed valves for the ones you want to retract and use the drill to take the place of the failed motor to retract them. Once I figured it all out it was pretty easy. Again my motor had failed. I’m pretty certain I had a large voltage spike go through my RV as a few electric components failed. It got hit by lightning or something.

Hopefully, you’ve resolved your issue by now, but if it happens to somebody else, I’d like to add a little more info. First question is was the motor running back there just behind the back tires. I’m sure you’ve heard it as it’s very loud. The procedure I’m describing assumes the hydraulic electric motor is not turning and you use a drill to turn the motor manually. Plenty of YouTube videos on how to retract them manually. The first thing I would do though is call equalizer systems at 1-800-846-9659. If during normal hours, you will get a technician on the phone and they will be very helpful.
