We just purchased an Eagle 29DDB and looking for bedding for the bunk beds since they are different size. Anyone have suggestions as to where to purchase bedding? Thanks

I also have a 29DDB. The bunks take a standard Full size mattress (54” x 75”) except you will need a custom made mattress if you want to fit that built-in curve on the bunks. Try Integrity Foam Solutions, I believe they will custom make a matress to your specs. We just purchased one of their Olympic Queen sizes they sell on Amazon for the master bedroom and it’s a very nice mattress for the price (6” support foam base, 2” cooling memory foam, then 2” latex alternative foam). Otherwise you can remove the decorative black moulding material on the edge of that curve and then use any Full size 54 x 75 mattress you choose (it will stick out a bit past that built-in curved section).

Here is their website:
And here is the link for the sizes they are selling on Amazon which includes the standard Full: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BW4GPCVW?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_1&th=1

I just finished a project where I removed the top bunk and converted the bunk room into a bedroom with twin mattress from Integrity Foam Solutions sitting on a platform bed with storage underneath, and added a small nightstand.

We just ordered a 29DDB. Do you have any photos of that Bunk Room conversion project?

Congrats on your purchase! We are loving our 29DDB so far. The twin bed in the remodeled bunk room is working great. The only thing we need to fix is that you can feel yourself being moved around back there when someone else is getting up and walking in the fifth wheel, or when the winds whip up at night, so we will probably add a pair of stabilizing jacks at the very rear and also a tripod for the front.

Your twin bed conversion is amazing! I sent the link to my husband hoping to convince him we need to do this for our daughter.

Thank you!

I watched a Youtube video from someone who removed a bunk on a similar model which gave me confidence to try it. It’s left us with some screw holes and a bit of molding that need to be patched up but so far we aren’t bothered by that (we may buy matching Jayco seam tape for that). I put down an attractive carpet and built a platform bed base from 3/4” birch plywood and 8 metal legs I got on Amazon, which allows storage underneath. Added a small nighstand from Amazon, and a flat-plug white extension cord with multiple sockets is plugged into the AC receptacle and tucked down along the edge of floor under the carpet where you can’t see it so the nightstand has power for charging devices etc. I kept the original Jayco upper shelf in place.

Compared to the original bunk, we like that there is an aisle to facilitate getting in and out and that makes it easier to change sheets and make bed. We also added blackout material to the backs of the curtains to fully block all the window light when sleeping.
