We live in British Columbia. Right now the winter has been ok, its been about 40 to 50 degs. The longer forecast is looking like its going to be cold and snow, did I mention I HATE cold? We are looking for someplace, western US that we can stay until weather warms up that won't break us. San diego is about 100 to 150 a night, there is a place we usually stay in LA that is reasonable but tha'ts not going to happen this year. I would think somewhere in CA or AZ. Even Las Vegas but most of the places we have stayed there are still in the 100 range. Looking for suggestions. Thanks

It's unlikely you will find a site in the winter months in a warm area. Most of those sites are booked as far in advance as the reservation systems will allow. I don't know how it works in the west, but in Florida those places that have seasonal rates are the most expensive rate now.

Cancellations happen regularly, but you have to somewhat lucky with your timing.

P.S. I like your tag line. I've got a lot of that too.

I would head south and look at Walmart's :)
The exchange rate will hurt big time paying for anything...look for free camping, never mind glamping :)
Might be cheaper to winterize, stay put, and find a cheap hotel :)

I guess we are probably warmer than anywhere in Canada right now but it is 61F and was 37 the last few nights. This is our cold part of the year and we are also getting the winds that come this time of year although not as bad as California. Even at that it is probably pretty hard to find a place in Arizona right now.
