Melborne milage

2016 5 speed averages in the 12's. That is going the speed limit (most of the time) pulling a 3000lb ish toad. I can get better in some situations. I think I take about a 1mpg hit with the toad.

Our Melbourne is a 2016 with the 3.0 liter turbo diesel.
Best mpg: 16.
Worst: 9.
Typical is 11-13.
It depends mostly on wind, mph, and hills.
I stick to speed limits yet seldom exceed 65.

Just got back from a quick trip to get Big Foot levelers on out at Quadra Manufacturing, stayed at the plant over night and they had me in at 7 am. Great people and I was in and out in 2 hrs and they even had a 300 dollar discount this month. That being said

2021 Melbourne 24 L with the 3.0 liter turbo diesel.
Mileage on trip 1276
Went through both the mountains of PA and the flats of Ohio. Both sunny and storming
85% of the time interstate roads and mostly 65 mpg
Miles per gallon 13.9

The old "fuel mileage" question.

The answer is "pretty bad" but who buys an RV thinking that big square going down the highway is going to get good fuel mileage?

Wind, hills. traffic, how far you ram your foot into the throttle gives everyone a different figure.

We get about 17 mpg but the wind is the biggest difference and speed. Usually go 60 mph. Get about 12 mpg pulling the Jeep
