Howdy, I want to upgrade my 2024 Jayco Melbourne 24L to Lithium. My current converter is a PD9260C and I'm thinking, I should replace it with a PD9360, when I install 2 Group 24 12V 100AH parallel connected. My question is, Do I need to do anything with the alternator?
Thanks

I think you're going to get a few people in the "Yes, install a DC/DC charger" camp and a few in the "No, probably not." category.

I'm of the mind that it depends. It depends on how you plan to use your Li battery, how much you plan to discharge it, how often you'll plug in w/ the engine off, etc. It depends on the BMS in the battery; if the battery has a BMS...

FWIW, I just installed two 100Ah LiFePO4's and I'm not installing a DC/DC charger.

i am with Pconroy, i do not have a dc/dc charger. just plug and play and buy the pendant for the pd9260c

Just curious if you have upgraded to lithium batteries and if you changed the inverter? We just got ours and would like to install lithium batteries
