OK, stored on lot brand new nothing in it except some toilet paper now removed. Excersising generator look under sink cabinet a few droppings and a little shredded TP. 20 glue traps later...shown flashlight thru floors under near waste lines can't find any light from underneath rig...I didn't bate glue traps so as not to invite more but glue traps are everywhere.. thinking of loading up a couple of the camping cats litter boxes each week with fresh "dudley droppings"..i mean cat urine would have to be a deterrent..any suggestions that really work would be appreciated

I tie cotton trussing string to the trigger of snap traps and rub peanut butter into the string. Works great. I'd try a few different Traps and see what works for you. Let us know what works and what doesn't.

How they get, beats me. I've had mice in trailers and never did figure how they got in, no chew holes or trails worn in the dust/dirt underneath. Through the slide mechanism is all I could think of.

Maybe the mice were seeking shelter and didn't stay around because there wasn't a food source. I had the same thing happen last winter...evidence of mice but I never caught one in the traps I set.

There is absolutely nothing of food source and rig is brand new..tp chewing made me nervous for nesting but it will be hard four mice to walk any ware without encountering glue trap. As far as keeping them out I don't know.. I'll buy ultrasound doohickie and actually sounds gross but I can keep fresh cat urine odor in rig by rotation in pans or containers...I mean they apparently have a very heightened smell sense it seems to me it would be hard for then to function amidst strong cat smell

Good news is I believe I caught it early tp shredding was minimal but on the other hand very few droppings in cabinet above microwave!.. i mean I really can't see how they got in that cabinet

I feel for you, though. I've been observing evidence of mice in the basement of our new home, yet I store absolutely no food down there so what could be the attraction other than for shelter? I haven't seen any signs of mice on the first floor, but I'm confident that Purrscilla would take care of any visitors in short order. I let her down in the basement every time she asks. However, so far, she's come back upstairs trophy-less. She is a good mouser, though.

Actually owning the rig is new to me but like you I am aware that we'll get mice in the house occasionally but never worried about them chewing electric wires...but with the rig we do
