More Newbies

Hello everyone,
We're William & Felicia in Seattle. New owners of a 2007 Jayflight 30.5 RLS.
We bought this not for traveling as much as for temporary lodging while caring for a sick relative.

Now it looks as if we will be living in the 5th wheel at a small trailer park until spring.
I'm hoping to find information and advice about surviving the winter. Seattle isn't as cold as some places, but, we do get a good freeze or two in an average winter season.

I know that this unit isn't '4 seasons' --- any advice? Do I need to heat the tanks?

Hey William and Felicia! Welcome to the forum!

We have some snowbirds out here that should be able to give you a little advice. Not very familiar with the winters out in Seattle. If you have extended days of freezing temps them yep - I would be looking to do something with those tanks. I have heard of special tank heaters, folks using skirts and a light, and all kids of other tricks. I am sure our snowbirds will chime in!
