Changed coach battery and hooked it up backwards after seeing it was wrong fixed it and everything in the coach worked when I went to start the motorhome it would only turn over but not start it is a 2012 jayco Melbourne 29d I don't know if it is a blown fuse or something else need some help if anyone has had this issue or may know a solution thanks

" turn over but not start " by this I assume you mean the starter will engage and crank the engine. This always comes down to two things: Lack of spark or lack of fuel. Not related to the coach battery nor a fuse at all. Have you checked for spark? Have you checked for fuel?

I would run an engine scanner. With all of the computers on vehicles, there is a chance that having the battery cables reversed, it might have zapped or disrupted the computer programming.

Last time mine did that, it was a computer module (airbag control module). Dealership tried replacing BCM 2x, and finally isolated it down to the airbag module after spending some time with Ford tech support.

I'm pretty sure it was a lighting strike nearby that caused it, we lost a DVD player and the fridge circuit board in the house. Camper was plugged into shore-power right next to the main panel on the side of my garage.

In that vintage, there should be an inertia switch behind the passenger side kick panel. You may want to look into that...

Mine doesn't have one.
