Moved water pump

I moved my water pump to a better location for maintenance and winterizing. It used to be behind the kitchen drawers and was hard to reach. I moved it to just behind the cover panel on the water heater compartment. I was able to move it without cutting or kinking any water lines. I just had to add some wire for the power.

While I was at it, I added some threaded inserts and threaded knobs for the cover panel. I figured that would be nice for winterizing and when I need to get to the water pump.

Nice work! I've been wanting to do the threaded insert thing on my most used panels. Just keeps getting moved down because my "Honey Do" list keeps growing!

Thanks. I’m going to do the same thing for the panel behind my power converter. I just need to get the time to do it.

Newbie here.

I have a 2011 Jayco Greyhawk 31DS. Water pump does not work. I can hear it. It sounds like it’s behind the panel where the outdoor shower is. Hope do I get access to the pump ? Any ideas ?

I’m not familiar with your camper but I would look around on the inside of the camper where you think the pump is located. There should be a removable panel of some sort. Before opening things up, are you sure there’s water in your tank and all valves are in the correct position?
