My Jayco and Me...a short story :)

We have been looking, talking and considering like we were young chickens. In the end, we decided that our current rig has been the best one we ever owned and is better now than when we purchased it. We will continue to use it as long as our health permits and keep the $75 grand we were planning to spend for the kids and grand kids.

Now I can sleep better at night.

I think you're right Norty, you've got that rig exactly as you want it, have maintained the living heck out of it AND, like another member here who posted about just having sold his, you might just one day get for close to what YOU PAID for it! :D

Although, that need to 'look' will never fade, no matter what you know your truth to be. :)

I'll be honest, I was expecting a few more responses

Yeah, me too. Sorry but the complete lack of whitespace makes it almost impossible for me to read.

I prefer paragraphs. Long run-on sentences don't bother me too much, well they could but, when frequently interspersed with punctuation -- whether grammatically appropriate or not is immaterial -- and as long as they don't span more that four lines. ;)

Yeah.
More white space.

That's what I need. :)

Everyone has their own style of living, to each their own. If you enjoy this lifestyle good for you. I am a traveler with camping as I travel an added bonus. I love to see as many different sights as I can see so I don't stay in one place very long, only once did I stay for two weeks in one place. I will travel as long as my Jayco will follow me. Blessings to all.

I agree 100%! We had enough of travelling around and pulling a trailer...we did see a lot of different places, some good some not so good, we were ready for the cottage life when this opportunity came up. We can still take trailer-less road trips if we feel the need to...actually we drove to Myrtle Beach last February for a very enjoyable road trip for golf mostly, beach walks and restaurants. We used to fly south every winter for that beach/sun/buffet vacation but decided to give that up also after about 7 trips. Who knows, we might get bored with glamping at this same place too, mind you this place is special/perfect so far :) Curious @23, are you a full timer? We often wondered what that would be like also...sell the mothership, buy a beauty RV and see this country and yours :)

Another thing that was a factor was when we purchased this rig new it was $58,800. CW offered me a "generous" trade in of $10k. I also talked with another seller who just advertises for private sale and they said to list it for $18k but it would likely go for around $16k or less.

That is generous on your part and on the trade-in part norty1.
@23, everyone has their own style of writing also :)
Anyway...just keeping the thread alive oh and btw, I've adding some pics to the glamper album if you have a dull moment :)
Okay, keeping it short and well paragraphed :)
