Bunk end fans. Bought 2 cheap 12 volt clamp on fans from wal mart. Cut the cigarette plug off the end. Bought the "headphone" jacks from Radio Shack and put them on.

I don't quite get this. Exactly what is powering these? Except for that, I think this might be a mode that I can actually do. ;)

I should have taken a better picture. There is an outlet or "jack" on the ceiling in front of each bunk end. Looks like the old headphone jacks. Actually they are the old headphone jacks. The fans plug into them.
The ends that I put on the fans look like this:
