Nautilus compartment latch broke.

Well I'm in the middle of a lengthy trip and my latch broke to my compartment that houses my Nautilus system. It pulls out and stays out but the compartment won't open. Anyone experience this?

Able to call a mobile rv tech?

Man, what a problem, wonder if drilling that latch is next best thing, then rig it to close with bungee cord or such when you head home.

The least destructive thing I can think of is cut a hole in the floor or side of the plastic tub as close to the latch as you can. A 3” hole saw would be best. Then you can buy a standard part to put in it. Reach inside and slide the latch bolt.
