Just saw an article where FURRION (Lippert) now has an 18,000 BTU a/c that will run on a 2K generator and is also Lithium/Solar friendly.
Sent a PMGot a link to the article? Does it talk about amp draw at various stages?
I replaced the 11K unit in my motorhome with a 13K high efficiency unit. Draws 1A more than the 11K did, and the 2K BTU delta is kinda noticeable, but not dramatic by any stretch. If I could get 18K (which would be a dramatic difference), without a proportionate delta in draw, that might be pretty interesting...
My 2022 North-point has a 7 pin connector. Furrion uses a 9 pin. It won’t work with the BMPro set up. Not comparable. Stuck with the Max Airs that leak out Freon. $1200 trash unit!Just saw an article where FURRION (Lippert) now has an 18,000 BTU a/c that will run on a 2K generator and is also Lithium/Solar friendly.
Is that specifically the Furrion CHILL CUBE ? I've heard about them. They have a low draw start and variable speed, type operation and very quiet.Just saw an article where FURRION (Lippert) now has an 18,000 BTU a/c that will run on a 2K generator and is also Lithium/Solar friendly.
Yes Route 66 posted a link. It sounds similar to what Samsung uses in their refrigerators. The one we had in our Pinnacle only drew 3 amps.Is that specifically the Furrion CHILL CUBE ? I've heard about them. They have a low draw start and variable speed, type operation and very quiet.

Does it work with the Jayco BMPro command center? The Chill Cube ACs for RVs were in short supply last yesr, hopefully they have resolved the supply problems they had.
Might be worth reaching out to Furion to see if they have or will offer a 9 pin to 7 pin adapterMy 2022 North-point has a 7 pin connector. Furrion uses a 9 pin. It won’t work with the BMPro set up. Not comparable. Stuck with the Max Airs that leak out Freon. $1200 trash unit!
