New 2019 F350 super duty pulling a 2016 Jayco Pinnacle 3810

We have the same F350 DRW Longbed towing a Pinnacle using a Curt A25 hitch. The RV dealer set us up with the hitch at the 2nd highest of 4 possible heights.

I wasn't happy with the RV/ truck clearance and raised the hitch to the last and highest bolt-hole setting. I now have my 6+ " clearance and both truck rails and Pinnacle are dead level. No other accessories, just dumb luck.

On my 2006 Ram I was pretty level. My new 2019 Ram has the factory 30k and was set at lowest hole. I raised it up one from the highest. That puts it 3/4 inch lower on bed rails than my 2006. First hook up and tow will be to a dealer for kitchen slide repairs on Tuesday. With Ram air suspension and 1 inch option lower in back I will see the clearance. Funny that the new beast is same height as my 2006. On that one I had six inches and the hitch box hit my roll up bed cover rail twice gouging it. But the cover rail was an inch higher than bed rail. Just got a Truxedo X15 pro which sits flush with bed. Will install after first tow to dealer.

Just got the B&W manual slider. For a 1st time 5th wheel owner the hitch is a breeze to hitch and unhitch. Installed by Waymire in Indy for $1500. the hitch is rated at 20K.

My 30k MOPAR hitch that came with my truck is made by Curt. Mine is probably just like yours with the center big rubber block. My one tow to the repair shop it was way smoother riding and way easier to lock and unlock than my Reese slider. The Reese was a nightmare to lock unlock.
