Good morning,
We are picking up our new 2025 Jay Flight SLX 260BH on Monday and are really excited about this. We are coming over from a Wolf Pup 17jg which is quite a bit smaller and I have not pulled anything this long in about 3 years.
I did have a question about WDH. I will be pulling with a Ram 1500 quad cab 5.7l 2wd and will move my WDH over from the Wolf Pup but will not be able to do this until after following weekend since I will be taking one last trip in the old camper and I am a little nervous towing without it, I've got about 60 mile from the dealer to the house on mostly interstate. Should my Ram be fine with doing this without too much trouble. Definitely not going to be running 70mph on the way. Any input would be appreciated.

The tongue weight on that TT is a little over 500 lbs. Be cautious and hope for good weather when you pick it up, such as no strong winds. I wouldn't drive over 60 mph with it. Watch for trailer sway as you go, and slow down if it occurs. If it turns out to be a white-knuckle drive, try to seek out a slower route if possible. I would surmise that you should be ok with that truck.

Appreciate the response, as of right now weather is looking great and will definitely will keep the speed low.
