Anyone tell me if your 250 squats with pin weight for the 351. If so what was the remedy. (please...don't tell me-you should have gotten a350SD--). I need my sleep......

My BIL has a 04 F250 and a 05 Jayco Eagle 325BHS 5th Wheel, he installed Firestone Air Bags on his F250 because it squated too much for him.
He also said his F250 would bottom out when going accross railroad tracks and such.
After installing the Air Bags his truck runs level and he said it rides much better.

Welcome to the forum Fishguy. Since I have no clue about needing a 350 or not, I`ll let you sleep a little longer. Enjoy your new 5er! :D

Is that the SuperLite model?

Ok looked a web site and found it...regular Eagle.

Welcome to the forum Fishguy and congrats on your 351RLTS. Finally saw one yesterday at a dealer. Very nice floorplan, love the L shaped couch.

As mentioned, a set of air bags will level things out. Our trailer is a bumper pull and is rather heavy on the hitch. Firestone air bags leaveled us right out.

If your truck is rated to tow the weight you should be good to go. My 2004 is only rated at 12900# for a fiver but I have no idea what yours is rated. I do know that the newer trucks have higher ratings than what mine does.

My 2011 350 SB was on the overload springs with our 351. Was just getting ready to take it to a spring shop to add another 500# set of springs and traded the truck for a 2012 F350 Long Bed. I will still add the springs because there is no difference in the spring capacities from 1 truck to the other. Also I have a question. My deaaler seems to not want to give me an answer. I need to know what the hitch plate ride height should be with the Mor/Ryde pin box so I can set up my new truck.
Thanks

If I could afford a F450 I would have owned a 351 Eagle but I haven't hit the lottery yet....:)
