Very nice!!

How heavy is the quartz compared to what you had in there?

Did you do the work yourself? Or did you have someone make it up for you?

Rough estimate on cost if you don't mind saying?

Lots of questions because I see myself taking this on in the not-so-distant future.

New counter top

The new counter top is made of 1/2 inch quartz. I had the thickened edge so the perimeter is 1 inch thick. I should have weighed the new counter top but I didn't. I know I could handle both the old and the new counter top myself.
I'm guessing it weighed between 50 and 70 lbs. I had a counter top company work off the old sink as a pattern. He cut a wood pattern which I fit into place to check the perimeter fit. Then I lined up where the new sink was supposed to be and marked the wood template. This gave the programmer the exact location of the sink cut out. The counter top with the sink inserts cost me $1200. Note a lot of edge polishing even the edges of the sink inserts so the sink will not get scratched with any movement while traveling.
