Hello, well my wife and I have been camping since 2007 in a R-Vision 27QBSS . We had our son in 2009 and we wanted to look at a different lay out camper. I have always liked the Jayco Eagle 324bhds. Been looking at Jayco for awhile. When I found out they were doing away with the Eagle line up I was sick. Tried to find a 2012 new 324 could not. Then I saw the new colors and realized they still had the 314 bds. So the wife and I ordered a new one in October of 2012.
,a new 2013 -314bds. It is so awesome got all the options gas windows, corian counters, electric package, etc,it is just awesome. We cannot wait to use it. Oh yea we live in Upstate NY. We have multiple trips planned. Love the build quality of the Jayco feels so solid when you walk in it. I am looking forward to hearing about and talking to other Jayco owners. The only problem I really heard about the campers were some of the roof air conditioners were coming loose. Anyway don't mind me just so excited about our new Eagle.

Welcome to the JOF, Donedroolin, and congrats on the new Eagle. We, too, were sold on the solid construction of Jayco units vs Brand X. Please post often, and maybe some pics when your unit comes in. As for the A/C units, there are many such problems with various brands, and Jayco is not exempt. Ours has never loosened, but it is a simple 10 minute job to remove the interior cover, tighten the 4 bolts if necessary, and replace the cover.

Thank you for all the warm welcomes. Got the new camper sitting in the driveway. She is under a cover next to my house. Cant wait to use. I will post pics of my tow vehicle and camper in the spring.
