My family and I just purchased a Jay Flight 26BH on Friday - Delivery in two weeks. We love to camp and have made the progression from tent to a popup to a travel trailer. We are really excited about experiencing camping in our new unit. We are from Deer Creek, IL - Population 700 between Peoria and Bloomington.

I am sure we will have lots of questions along the way and look forward to learning more about our TT and belonging to the Jayco Owner Community.

An initial question I have is regarding the waste hose and connection. The unit comes with the hose, but do I need any additional fittings for connection at the campground?

Hey Richdaddy! Welcome to the forum. As a fellow 26BH owner - you will love that unit!

There are lots of friendly folks here that are happy to answer questions.

As far as the sewer hose - they probably just supplied the basic waste hose that has the connector on one end and just the hose on the other. I see people using those and just sticking the end into "the hole". I prefer the full kit with the right angle connector and the sewer adapter that works with multiple size sewer holes. It is much cleaner and easier to deal with. Personally I like the Rhinoflex sewer kit - it has everything you need to get going and it holds up very well.

Enjoy your new unit!

Thanks for the warm welcome and reply on the waste line info. I looked at some accessories on line yesterday and did see some kits. I will look at the Rhinoflex again. Thanks!

Welcome to the forum richdaddy abd congrats on your new Jay Flight 26BH. Enjoy all the space and amenities that your new TT has to offer.

congrats

Congratulations on new unit. Hoping you enjoy many years of camping enjoyment. Agree with the Rhino selection as far a sewer hoses are concerned.
Happy Trailering

Hi Richdaddy, welcome! Enjoy the 26BH, I've had mine for a trouble free year!
A lot of the campgrounds here in CA require the elbow, make sure you know before pulling in. They lock them here and want to see the elbow prior to allowing you access.
Enjoy! We just figured out that we've stayed in our trailer for 84 days since we bought it, love it.:)
