Recently took delivery of a new 2018 precept and wondering about warranty repair items found on our acceptance insp. It seems all items are list as warranty but nothing is getting repaired. The convection mw is nothing but a glorified clock because that's all it will do. Waiting on Jayco. 2 bath both showers bottom rail leaks onto floor.... The list goes on and on..all with the same answer from dealer, Waiting on Jayco. Is there a number I can call Jayco at to maybe get help or something?

Call 1-800-517-9137 which is Jayco CS and select motorized. They will need the last 8 characters of your VIN to assist you and also tell you if Warranty items have been submitted. They have been very good and responsive in my dealings with them. Almost sounds like your warranty center is the problem, not Jayco. You might ask Jayco if there is another location close to you that does warranty work also while you have them on the phone. Good Luck!!!

Jayco Motorized section for warranty work

We had a 2016 Precept 31 UL that had Furnace, Battery, Refrigeration,Over cab bed, Mirror camera, Exhaust, Front seat, Counter and other misc items and found by getting Randy on line at the Jayco motorized section. that we were able to get all items fixed during the 2 year warranty. Our problem was we lived in Hawaii so a round trip to bring it to service costs. We found out that the service centers are slow but if you find the right one they fix everything for you. We found Manteca Trailers in Manteca Ca worked well with us and found that many service centers were absolutely horrible with the worst being RV of Sacramento. So check out the service centers to find out how many techs have been with them for long periods as practice makes perfect. We now store our RV right across the street from our service center in Manteca

Precept 35S warranty great

My dealer (Colerain RV) in Cincinnati was been great to work with for warranty and non-warranty repair. I worked with Randy West at Jayco CS Motorized for 18 months of my two year warranty but last time I tried to contact him my emails bounced back.

Usually warranty approval took under 2 weeks, waiting on parts was always the longest delay, almost 60 days for shower doors but we always scheduled big items for end of camping season (October/November/December for us).

I certainly can't complain about Jayco warranty.

X2 on ^^^. I've been working with Tina Campanello from Jayco Motorized CS. Very nice, helpful, and sends me the information I need immediately. I've used them to get some schematics for a few things i'm looking to do. Also, working with my dealer on a list of items at the PDI and since, and they have been great with the warranty work. They have me bring it in for 1 day. They deteremine the the issues, what parts they need, order those parts and have me come back a few weeks later for again one day and they fix everything at one time.

To me this is the way all service work should be done, get it in and get it back out. I don't see why some places keep the coach for weeks or months. Get it back out there even if certain things are inoperable so it can be used, albeit in a diminished capacity, instead of rotting on the lot.
