Hello everyone,
My wife & I are in our 2nd Year as RV owners. We sold our 2005 Skyline Nomad Lite (24' 7") after 1 trip this year (we went 8 X last year) and it went surprisingly fast. So we decided to purchase a 2016 JAYCO, JAY FLIGHT SLX, Model: 212 QBW (25' 4") from our local Jayco Dealer. We feel in love with it. It doesn't have all the bells & whistles but I would rather have it that way. It is just 7" longer than our old trailer, and the dry weight is only about 100 lbs. heavier. We have it parked in our driveway & have put it to the test while home camping. Did some small shelf mods to the cabinets also. We are heading out on our maiden voyage this next weekend, and are excited. I love the large windows & walk around bed. However after Tenting nearly 50 years I still cook outside, and use the outside shower too. LOL. We hope to have this RV a long time, and travel the country as much as possible. I feel Jayco will get us there.
