Congratulations! Key is to take your time, and think three steps ahead. When hooking up check under the trailer to ensure nothing is under it. We bent a camp stove 20 years ago, we still use it, it is a friendly reminder. If someone helps hook the TV and htt I double check the connection points.
When back in, this is where thinking ahead will really help. When getting to the camp site, get out look over the site, talk about where you want it, look at your turning radius, figure out how far to pull forwards before starting to backup. Most people do not pull forwards enough, before backing in.
Once you are in your spot, check your level side to side, adjust as needed with blocking, then chock the wheels. Unhitch, level front to back don't use the nose wheel. Put the stabilizers down, ideally on blocking, then open the slide and awning. Next morning tighten up the stabilizers.
Tip to make your beds if using sheets, unzip the emergency exit windows, have one person outside helping and one inside. Beds are made really quickly and they are not frustrating too do.
