I am very pleased to be a new member of this Jayco forum site.
We have a new 2012 Skylark FKV, TV Toyota 4 Runner along with two Honda 2000 Gens.
I have downsized from 30 foot 2003 Jayco 5/er and a 2002 HD Chev 2500 durmax.
What are the recommendations regarding equalizer bars or weight distribution bars?

Skylark Weight Hitch Distribution Consideration

Thanks for the information re recomendations.

I installed a Reese dual cam hitch on mine. Photos are shown on my membership site. I was towing it with a Toyota 4 runner six cylinder but went to a Dodge 1500 for extra storage and power. That hitch works very well.

I have a 2008 4Runner V6. I am pulling an 165 Sport, 16' TT dry weight 2850.
I just installed a hidden hitch and an Equilizer E2 WD system. Etrailer.com has some good deals.
I saved enough installing myself to pay my winter storage. You may need a longer shank to get the ball low enough. Depends if you have any lift at all.

Hightly recommend the E2 system. Do you have the V8 tow package?
Best regards,
Doug

Thanks for the helpful Skylark FKV WD information. A Reese 66151 is ordered and on its way from Etrailer. Our TV is a Toyota 4 Runner with the V8 tow package. For the the winter the Skylark is tucked out of harms way in the garage. The Jayco Forum provides a vast amount of knowledge and expertise. Thanks everyone.
Ron
