New member from so. IL with questions

Hello I'm new to this forum but very excited to have found you all. My husband and I live in a rural area but still love to camp. This is our first travel trailer, we are now at the age we prefer sleeping in a bed instead of the ground in a tent. Altho' if thats what makes you happy that's fine too, my kids love it. LOl

We have bought our first TT, we are the proud owners of a 1993 J-Series TT.
I'm very excited as I said, but have some questions hoping to get help.
1. Does anyone know where the fuses would be in our 1993?
2. When we have the tt pluged in to the outlet here at home I noticed a buzzing noice and located it under the couch and I believe it is coming from the convertor. Is this normal? If so, it'll take some geting use to! If not does anyone know what the problem may be,I think there was also a box under there titled charger.. maybe thats what was buzzing? Anyway hoping someone can give me some feedback.

If these questions have been asked and answered already I appolgize It i just alittle overwhelming at this time.

Welcome to the forum Nannie Goat and congrats on your 1993 J-Series TT. I can't answer your questions either, but I'm sure somebody here will be able to help.

Welcome to the Jayco Owners Forum. You should have a louvered grill cover with a twist lock on the center bottom. It is most likely tan or brown. Hope this helps.

Welcome to the Jayco forums!

The older converter/chargers were little noisier and not as efficient as the newer models, but they did get the job done. They can run a little warm when under load, but shouldn't be extremely hot.

In most cases there should be a removable panel located in the general area of the converter/charger which will have the breakers and fuses.

What model "J" TT did you purchase?

Welcome to the forum.

If you go to Cunningham Campers you can register for the site and they have manuals for 1993 Jayco trailers.

This might be a place to start. Next you need to contact Jayco directly and they can send you the diagrams for your trailer based on the VIN.
