hello,
my family (wife and 4 kids) and i have been pop-up camping for three years (just east coast for now) , we have decided to upgrade to a 2012 Jay feather x23b. looking for advice on different campgrounds and wondering about weight distribution hitches.. do i need one if my tow vehicle is an 08 1500 suburban? looking forward to reading your posts and advice...thank you in advance .

Tom, there are a few threads in this forum regarding hitches with many different views; also type in your trailer type and see what pops up while you are waiting for a specific replay to your question. Type in the search section and see what you get.

Tom,

Welcome to JOF :)

Based on the potential "loaded" weights of the 23B, IMO most will fine a WDH would be required. Here is a recent JOF thread on the very same 23B subject: http://www.jaycoowners.com/showthread.php?12158-Weight-distribution-and-anti-sway-is-it-necessary/page3

If you have any further specific questions on weights or WDH's, you may find starting a new thread in the "Towing and Tow Vehicles" sub-forum will produce additional replies.
