Hi Everyone,
Rick here and a new member of this forum. We're very excited about the new-to-us 2018 Melbourne Prestige Class C we just got! Marilyn and I have owned a number of travel trailers and most recently a Forest River toy hauler (currently for sale). With Marilyn retiring at the end of this year, we're planning on hitting the road (as well as camping trips) and felt that this Class C motorhome will work out for us better than the FR Work & Play 21LT toy hauler. Our toy hauler is actually a great "regular" camper, especially with the patio ramp kit I installed, but I think the motorhome will really suit our needs better.
For the times that I'll take out my Polaris RZR, I'll getting a 12-foot utility trailer which I'll tow behind the motorhome. Anyway, putting the RZR inside the toy hauler was always challenging and I'm trying to make life easier at this stage of our lives!
I'm very impressed with the build quality of this Jayco motorhome after having looked at Forest River Forester MBS. Lexus vs Chevy.
I look forward to learning more about the motorhome and this community, and I'll be starting a thread in the appropriate area with some questions.
All the best,
Rick
