Tomorrow is the day we pick up our new Redhawk 26xd. Truly we have not slept for a week. The garage is packed with our camping stuff from the Itasca Spirit.
More info to come.

Oh, you WILL be happy! It's the best motorhome that we've ever owned, and it drives and handles like a dream.

The 6 speed transmission gave us 11.1 MPG on our last trip to Florida... we stayed at about 62 MPH, and didn't have any of the nasty downshifting when going up and down hills.

Have been following your posts from the get go. Hope we have the same positive experience you did. We are in the same boat, as we're heading for Florida
the end of next week.

Today is THE DAY! It is the day you have been loosing sleep over. ;)

WOW, We're happy for 'ya!

If three things are properly set up, it will handle like a dream... Tire Pressure (75 front and 80 in the rear), alignment, and the Hellwig helper springs (there is a BIG thread on that).

Be safe and have fun!

Pot Of Gold III

Picked her up yesterday at Fretz' RV in Souderton, PA. Temps out side were freezing but the furnace in the Jayco was toasty warm. The initial session lasted about 90 minutes and the tech was very patient with all of our questions. The only issues were two outside compartment locks that need adjustment.

Drove home, about 40 miles, with all good intentions of packing our camping stuff from the old Itasca. Instead we opened the slideouts, leveled the MH, and sat inside drinking beer. Purchasing a motorhome in the winter can be very stressful!;)

I've done business w/ Fretz in the past. They were always decent with me. Bob Spack is a very knowledgeable salesman and very nice to talk with.

Thanks. I was there a few times and they seemed like a good operation. I was ready to buy a Chinook from them but my wife didn't like the white leather sofas. I have regretted not buy that ever since.

I want to go back and look at jayco.

First Pics!!!

Guess there will be no camping this week end. The pile of snow behind the new camper is our Mazda!!
