New RV Resort Lake George ,NY

Three years ago we rented a Class C and headed to Lake George and Lake Placid, NY. Well, we had such a great time, that we decided to head back to that area again this year. We will be staying at Lake George RV Resort for part of the time. In 2011 a new resort will be opening. Chocolate Moose Campground. http://www.chocolatemoosecampground.com/
We met some of the staff at an RV show this past winter. We hope to do a drive by just to check out the area the campground is located. It should be open by 2011, if all the permits go through. Looks like it will be a nice place to visit, so check it out. Love to hear of new places and campgrounds to visit.

One sucky thing about being on one coast or the other.... it takes more than 5 days to get to the other coast! We are on the West coast and make the East coast a priorty every few years. We will make it as far as the Mid-West this year, but really would like to do the North-East in the next couple of years... if we have enough time next Summer, I would really like to do the Blue Ridge Pkwy and extend the trip up through Maine if we can.
