Hello all!

Thank you for your welcome. I'm in a 5th wheel I live in on family property that won't be moving anywhere. This is a whole new world for me, and I've been learning as I go along.

One simple thing I'm trying to do seems more complicated than it should be. I have a mesh screen door and want to do what I saw one user post about...replace it with plexiglass. The weather is either too hot or too cold to open the door and let outside air in, but I only have one entrance and like the extra light. My cat likes to look outside too!

Where can I find the glass to replace my screen with? It seems impossible to reach Jayco directly and I've searched everywhere else. I don't need the lower screen protecter or the sliding piece that goes in front of the main door handle, but that's all I see. I need to replace the screen itself.

Sorry I lost track of the person who posted about it, but can anyone help me?

Sure appreciate it!

You didn't post what year and model. When we had our 2015 PINNACLE the inserts were available to order from JAYCO, but you have to go through a dealer. Also

Hi Grumpy!

Thanks for that fast reply. It's a 2022 Montana 3931FB. I didn't contact the dealer first because the Camping World location I bought it from won't be offering service where I am for a while. The franchise is still small but growing. I can't get it to them but have some DYIers who own RVs and are willing to help install plexiglass. Like my kids whose camper is parked next to mine but is taken to campsites often. I'm tied into their septic, water line, and electricity.

It might not be possible, just hoping we could do it ourselves. I've been living here for two months and am disabled. It would be a hardship to leave here and to get everything put away safely.

Thanks again!

You don't need to take it to the dealer, but with JAYCO the dealer has to order it and have it dropped shipped to you. Not sure how Keystone works. You may be able to order direct if the inserts are available. Ours were heavy clear vinyl inserts in a frame. If not, yes you can cut plexiglass to fit and use storm door clips to hold them in place. I did that on other rigs.

Thanks for the fast reply, Grumpy!

I'm not sure about Keystone either because they try to put everything in the warranty so you don't touch do anything yourself. But that'll be great if I can get them to order a screen for me. It should be a small thing! I appreciate your help and will get in touch with them. Thanks again!
