My husband and I just purchased our first camper, a used (2017) North Star 5th Wheel. Last week we had our first experience with camping and loved it. We are both retired and plan to camp for most of the summer.

We know we will make mistakes and occasionally look stupid to experienced campers.

One question we have not been able to answer - is there an outside connection where we can connect to the campground's TV cable service?

WOW! You've started 'camping' at the 'glamping' ;) part. Congratulations on the new-to-you North Point and welcome to the forum.

Please let us know if you have any questions/problems. There are lots of friendly, helpful folks on this site.

The cable service port is usually near the power cord and city water connections. That would be drivers side rear.

Mine is like Tunce said; drivers side rear. BUT mine is not near either the water or the electric connections.

The cable/satellite connections on the North Point are in the compartment where you hook up your water hose and operate your valves. Look at this pic. They are those 3 connections at the top right. Yours should look close to this.

Make sure that if you hook up cable or satellite, that you turn off the antenna booster, which is near your main TV.

While mine is a Travel Trailer, it is also on drivers side rear but well marked CABLE input.

Good luck and congratulations on your 5th wheel!

Yes, I am not familiar with tour 5vr. If you have a command center like montyrv shows, look in there. On my tt, it kinda looks like a city water connect with a cap on it. I think mine says cable/satellite.

Have fun! I'm hope to be able to take off for long journeys in 10 years.
