My wife and I bought our first Jayco pop up in 1972. We took it from North Chicago, IL to Vallejo CA and lived in with our 4 kids for a month while waiting for Navy Housing.
After that we had a StarCraft pop up which we used for gold panning in the American River, not much gold but a lot of fun. Then I retired from the Navy in Norfolk, VA and moved to Oxnard CA. We purchased a Jayco pop up for the trip. In 1999 We bought a Jayco Designer fifth wheel and took off for 14 months. In 2008 we went to the Tampa RV show and just happened to walk into a Jayco 34 RLQS which we now own, Great Trailer. Our Daughter and Son-in-law have an Jayco Eagle fifth wheel with bunk beds.
