My wife and I are waiting for spring and delivery of our new Jay Feather Select Model 242 travel trailer. We had a Scamp for several years but decided that it was just too small for us. We searched and liked the Jayco so we bought it and an F-150 to tow it with. We're concerned with the rapidly rising price of gas but still excited to get going. Our first trip is planned for Savannah and Charleston which will be a lot of gallons of gas from Minnesota.:)

Welcome to the forum llerberg and congrats on your new Select 242. There's alot of us northerners waiting for spring to get here. Hope you have many safe and memorable trips in your new Jayco.

Welcome to the Jayco Owners Forum llerberg! We used to own a 17' Casita. Nice little fiberglass "egg". We are really happy with our upgrade to Jayco though. Yeah, gas prices are going up so much and so fast that we aren't going to travel as far as planned this spring. Have fun on your trip and post pics when you get going! :)

Camping is not for the fuel savers! Enjoy the new rig & welcome aboard!

You will probably find lots of places close by to camp at. You don't have to drive very far in most parts of the country to camp. Look around and see what is available in your area.
