Attached is the all new revised Electrical Troubleshooting Tips For Newbies Version 3.
It has been a work in progress for awhile now (mostly due to procrastination) and has GREATLY increased the amount of information for troubleshooting RV systems. It is now 40 pages of problems that we encounter in our RVs.
I kind of went overboard in adding info. Much of it is from personal experience but there is also hints from other forum postings and manufacturer documentation. Here is some of what the document contains:
12 volt and 120 volt troubleshooting
Charging system troubleshooting
Inverters and Converters troubleshooting
Furnace troubleshooting
Water heater troubleshooting
Fridge troubleshooting
Electric step troubleshooting
Plus misc tips and a lot more
The other attached document is a quick guide to learn how to use a multimeter for anyone who has never used one. You can be an expert in minutes. This document has also been revised from the original posting.
Hope my effort gives some insight when you have a problem and don't know where to begin.
