Well, we did it, we did it, by George, we finally did it!
Hi folks, Tom & Carol Goodson here.
Carol and I have been looking at motor homes for the past 2 years. Like most everyone-I assume-we ranged the spectrum of motor home class (A, C, B+), length, brand and new or used.
Next week, we pick up our new Alante 26Y in Michigan. As we have never owned, nor even driven, a motor home, the 1,400 mile drive back will be met with some trepidation. We are hoping that the philosophy of "slow and easy" will prove to be the solution to our lack of experience in driving something 27' long.
Over the past 2 years, we have searched every motor home forum found on the internet. At this time, I would like to pause a moment to say "many, many thanks" to all of the great MH owners who took their time to answer my never ending queries on the how, when, what and where of becoming a motor home owner!
Carol and I hope to become good and reliable members of this forum, and when we are sufficiently knowledgeable on the subject, to become a source of info for those coming along in their quest for the traveling life-style.
