I’m new here. I recently got my first Jayco (5200 lbs) and going on first trip to the NC mountains tomorrow.
My TV is a 2022 Ram 1500 crew cab 4x4. With towing package. Timbren’s installed.
I measured truck fender heights unloaded and loaded with trailer. I went to Cat scales unloaded and again loaded for camping with trailer and weight distribution hooked up. So my Question is this. My unloaded front steering axle weight is exactly same loaded as unloaded and front truck hight measure same loaded and unloaded. Rear axle weight is is under maximum spec loaded and rear hight is about 1” lower than empty. Trailer sitting level.
So is this good setup? Should I tighten distribution to put more weight to front axle? Seems to tow fine but wasn’t sure if I am good with same front axle weights loaded and unloaded or if I should try to adjust to get more weight to front axle and little less on rear?

I'd go up one more link, or whatever to see if you can split the difference. 1/2" up in the back, 1/2" down in the front. and..

Thank you for that I appreciate it. I wasn't sure because seems like most things ive read say to try to get back to original height / weight or half way by height on front hooked up WD vs un hooked WD.
