We have a camera, and about once a week the low voltage lights and fridge shut off for about 36 hours. After looking at discussions in here we realize it must be the converter. After 48 hours it comes back on. What do we do??

If the converter fails I don't think it would return to full service. Are you sure your power is not being turned off? Also..

Just guessing, Sounds like your converter might be shutting down due to an overheat or overload condition. It resets over time after the condition is cleared. BTW, what make/model is your converter? It would help to know for troubleshooting.

I would start by checking out the battery condition and your charging output for the converter. Check all connections to make sure they are clean & tight, especially the ones behind the converter.

We think you are correct!! ding ding ding. When we travel to it in a week or so, that is what we will do. My husband is pretty darn good fixing electric stuff. But we are new to Jayco. We also discovered that the hot water heater was disconnected from gas and connected up to electric. When he connected up the gas, he immediately could smell it so he disconnected it immediately.
What a wonderful group! Thank you, all of you!
