Hi folks, We are looking to buy our first “real” travel trailer. We have settled on the 174BH. We wanted the STX version because of the increased ground clearance, the power tongue jack and better tires.
We have found a 174BH SLX with fibreglass sidewalls, enclosed under belly, overlander solar package.
My question is, Is the STX version that much better than whatI’m looking at now?
Are plan is to do road trips and camp wherever we can.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

The STX and BAJA editions have larger fresh and waste tanks and a larger propane tank as well. The BAJA has a flipped axle and bigger wheels which give more ground clearance. There are other differences but those are the ones that made the difference to us. We never camp in serviced sites so the extra capacities extend our limits. If that is important to you, don't compromise. Any extra cost will soon be forgotten but having the wrong trailer will always bug you.

Thank you so much for your reply. You’re absolutely, I don’t want to have any regrets so I’m making sure the trailer fits all my needs.
