Norcold 12V N8DC

Hello,

I have a 2021 267BHS with a Norcold 12V N8DC fridge that has apparently died. It doesn't cool or freeze. There is power, the control panel works and I can change temp settings, light comes on when I open the fridge door. I've left it on for days and nothing happens. Local RV shop says most likely the board but they want diagnostic fee and if it is the board, that will cost $800+. If the fridge is dead, its $2000 to replace.

Anyone have a similar issue with these stupid things? Anyone change the board and if so, is it easy enough for someone who has basic skills?

Research it and see if it has a capacitor and just change that part. cheap to change.

I would run through the diagnostics and see if there are any fault codes or other indicators for the no cooling. ~CA (I am not sure if yours is the dcx but they are likely similar even if not)
