I think my Norcold fridge has a low flame. It’s not cooling on propane like it used to. The inside temp gets up to 47 on LP but stays in the 30’s on electric. I’ve taken the burner tube off and blown it out with compressed air but there’s no change. What should my next step be?

There may be a screw in orifice which has a very small hole in it that shoots the gas into the burner tube. It may be partially clogged. Don't drill it out but find something that can fit through it to clear it out. I have use a bristle from a metal brush on things like this.

Another possibility is a problem with the propane tank. If the valve is turned on very quickly, it activates a low flow mode. You would notice this on your stove also. The fix here is to shut the valve and relieve the pressure in the line by opening a stove burner briefly. Close the stove burner and slowly open the propane valve and see if that helps.

Just for comparison, take a look at the flame here and compare that to yours. Also, I haven't checked mine often, in fact only a few times over a lot of years and with that I have noticed that the flame size is hard to tell its exact size in the daylight and may be something you should check when the sun is low in the sky. In bright daylight, only the brightest (hottest) part of the flame is easily seen which makes it appear to be less of a flame. ~CA

Does your gas stove have a good flame, or very small? If small, leave it burning, and turn off your propane tank. Once the flame is gone, turn stove off and turn the propane back on very slowly.

Check that the air passageway from the burner area to the top of the RV is not blocked by anything (birds nest, fallen insulation, etc). Airflow is important.
