Newb question...sorry guys. I know I shouldnt use the AC adapter to run air cond at home bc it could melt the adapter. However, can I run the refer using the AC adapter to cool the refer the night b4 we leave. I did this with my old popup and I need to make sure this is ok with the hybrid. Thanks guys and happy camping! 2012 X20E

You will be fine on that with just the converter going as well. I trip the big breakers just to make sure should the ac come on.

I usually give it 2 days to acclimate so I can load it ahead of my trips and leave it on auto in case of a failure with it loaded.

Yep...you will only pull 300-400 watts to run the fridge. If you are concerned, run it on propane as it will use very little propane.
