NorthPoint Drinking Water System

This is probably an odd question but have you ever had or heard of anyone getting mold in the drinking water system, fridge ice maker? We have only had our 377 for a few months and my wife is afraid to use the ice from the freezer or the drinking water. She's deathly afraid of mold and even though I sanitized the system when we took delivery and take the bottle out at the end of our trips she's sure mold will pop up overnight and especially sitting for 2-3 weeks in between trips.

Anyone had a problem with mold in their system?

Mold needs both food and oxygen. Think about if you leave a clean half filled bottle of water out someplace (car in my case), does it grow mold? I've never seen one do that and I've had bottles that sat in my car in storage for months. Now soda and iced tea are totally different and they will grow mold over time.

I use our home water to fill the jug, which has plenty of chlorine in it. No issues.
