Hello all
I have been 'lurking around' and reading posts for a while now and have since decided to join. Our first Jayco was a 2009 26BH, and for a family of 5 and our dog it was enough for us, but since we are foster parents, we run out of room quickly. (even babies take up space):hihi:
I LOVE my 26BH, but am seroiusly looking at an 2011 25BHS.
Any input about the 25BHS would be great.
Keep posting people, I love this site!

Cheers

Welcome UpTown! Glad you found us!!

I am a 26BH owner and love it with my family of 4 and a dog, but know it can be a little cramped at times. We really liked the 25BHS and if I had my preference would probably be in one, but two things kept me from it -- 1) Weight -- the 25 added enough weight that it would put me at my limit or a little over on TV. The 25 adds about 1300 lbs.....2) Cost - just added a little more than we wanted to pay and we got a killer deal on the 26 I could not pass up.

Welcome to the Jayco Owners Forum UpTownBrown! One thing we like with our little bit longer floor plan is the jack-n-jill bunk. Our three older kids use that as their bedroom (the one year old hasn't camped with us yet). Our tt loaded runs about 7000lbs but has a gvw lower than the 25bhs. Both tt's are nice. I can't remember anyone here that has the 25bhs, but hope you can get some input here. Let us know what you wind up doing! :)

Newbie bought another Jayco!!!

Hello All
Thanks for the kind words!
I think it might be easier to "answer' all in one reply, so here goes

Mustang, thanks, we have been foster parents for almost 15 years, it feels great to help kids and babies get a good start out in life, some of these kids come from homes I can't even mention, however since we started camping seriously in 2009 we haven't found a baby that didn't like camping!

tafische, yes we love our 26BH, like you we liked the 25BHS before we got our26BH, but the extra $ and weight....we decided on the 26BH. Did your floor squeak?
Sadly though, I just sold it, (we're going to miss it) the dealer was going to give me nothing on a trade so I sold it privately, and found a great deal in the U.S. So.... just put money down on the 25BHS, awesome deal, couldn't pass it up, paid almost $5k less than here in Ontario for the same unit. Picking up in June, can't wait.:D

healthi, yes we also looked at the 28bhs, and then the 29qbh, our real problem is the length, our driveway will only support about 29 feet! So that limits us, and the wife likes the full size slideout. Just need a longer driveway!

Cheers

Did your floor squeak?

Mine has developed one small squeak in front of the fridge, but it is not enough to worry about. I am sure it is where 2 pieces of flooring come together.

Well congrats on the new trailer! Will be curious to hear how you like it so keep us updated.
